President Makes Disaster Relief Available in SC
Columbia, S.C. (WOLO)–President Barack Obama has given the green light for emergency disaster relief in South Carolina. The declaration means several counties in the state are eligible for federal aid to compensate un-insured losses that came as a result of the flooding. The counties included in the declaration are Charleston, Dorchester, Georgetown, Horry, Lexington, Orangeburg, Richland, and Williamsburg. Residents wanting to file for this assistance should go to www.disasterassistance.gov, or call 1-800-462-7585 that’s 1-800-462-FEMA.
