Victim of fatal shooting identified

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — Richland County Corner Gary Watts has released the name of the individual that died Thursday afternoon on Leeward Loop off of Garners Ferry Road, after being shot. The incident happened just before 3pm pm Thursday. 18-year-old Cory Henderson of Eastover was pronounced dead on the scene. An autopsy conducted Friday morning showed that Zeigler died from complications of a gunshot wound to the upper body. The Richland County Sheriff’s Department continues to investigate.
