Arrest made in fatal shooting on Percival Road

RICHLAND COUNTY, SC (WOLO) — An arrest has been made in connection with the fatal shooting of a 21-year-old man on Percival Road. Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott said 22-year-old Randall Gadson was arrested Wednesday following an investigation by the Sheriff’s Department into the death of Paul Coleman on Sept. 18. The shooting occurred in the 300 block of Percival Road. Richland County Coroner Gary Watts stated that Coleman died from a gunshot wound to the head. EMS transported the victim to Palmetto Health Richland Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The Sheriff stated that this incident occurred over a dispute of a gun transaction. Gadson is being held at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.
