Richland County officials holding flood impact meeting

GADSDEN, S.C. (AP) — Officials in Richland County are updating the community on the ongoing impact from historic flooding in the area.

State Sen. Darrell Jackson and elected officials from Lower Richland County are hosting a community meeting at 6pm on Thursday at the Temple of Faith Bible Way Church.

Organizers say representatives from agencies including the Department of Transportation, the Department of Health and Environmental Control and the Adjutant General’s Office will be on hand to answer any questions.
