Sumter man faces multiple criminal sexual conduct charges

SUMTER, SC (WOLO) — A Sumter man placed on the Most Wanted list for the Sumter County Sheriff‘s Office last month turned himself in to authorities. 39-year-old Danny Samuels reported to officials Saturday night at the Sumter-Lee Regional Detention Center. Samuels faces various sexual assault charges, including two counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor and a single count of first-degree criminal sexual conduct. Samuels remains in custody as of Monday morning. At a previous hearing bond was set at $70,000.
