Springdale PD Investigate Hit and Run

Springdale, S.C. (WOLO)– Police in Springdale are looking for a suspect in a Tuesday morning hit and run involving a city employee. Investigators say at 7:45 Tuesday morning a public works employee was getting onto the back of a garbage truck on Platt Springs Rd. when a driver in a grey car hit him in the back with its passenger side mirror and drove away. Police say the impact partially knocked the mirror from the car leaving it hanging from the side. Investigators ask if you know where this car is to call the Springdale Police Department or Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
