Sumter man killed in crash early Sunday morning

SUMTER, S.C. (WOLO) — Authorities say a Sumter man was killed early Sunday morning in a crash on U.S. 15 in Sumter. The Sumter County Coroner says 34-year-old Tory Jenkins was killed in the crash. Jenkins was not wearing his seatbelt. The South Carolina Highway Patrol says Jenkins was driving north on U.S. 15 near Whites Mill Road around 4:15 a.m. when his car ran off the road and into a tree. The investigation into what exactly happened continues.
