USC Greek Village hosting trick-or-treating for children

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — Greek life at the University of South Carolina looks a little different this week.

On Thursday, the school’s fraternities and sororities are hosting a night of trick-or-treating for children in the Columbia area. From 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., kids and their parents can take part in a variety of activities at Greek Village, including face painting, cake walks and bounce houses.

The school says the event near its downtown Columbia campus offers a safe way for kids to enjoy Halloween activities.
