Sanders sticking around to campaign in S. Carolina
ROCK HILL, S.C. (AP) — A day after facing off with other contenders for the Democratic presidential nomination, Bernie Sanders is hitting the South Carolina campaign trail.
The Vermont senator is starting Saturday by giving a keynote speech at the 2015 Southern Regional Meeting of the National Federation of Democratic Women in Rock Hill.
Also scheduled is a news conference in Columbia before he travels to Aiken for a town hall meeting.
Sanders and the other Democratic hopefuls participated in a debate Friday at Winthrop University.
