Coroner rules death of Oswego woman a homicide

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — Richland County Coroner Gary Watts is released the cause of death of an individual found in a wooded area near the 5300 block of Lower Richland Blvd. 50-year-old Francena Higgins of Oswego was pronounced dead at a local emergency room just before 10 a.m. on Sunday. The death has been ruled as a homicide. The Richland County Sheriff’s Department continues to investigate.
