Standoff in Paris

Paris (WOLO) — Gunshots and explosions ring out during a standoff in suburban Paris early Wednesday morning. Officials say after a large police operation in Saint Denis, two suspects in last week’s Paris attacks have been killed. Among those, a woman, who officials say, detonated a suicide bomb. Authorities say seven people have been detained and three police officers were injured during the standoff. The operation targeted the suspected mastermind of last week’s attacks, Abdel-Hamid Abu Oud. Police say they believe he was in the apartment in Saint Denis with other heavily armed suspects, but it has not yet been confirmed.
