Holly Hill Man Accused of Exposing 5-year-Old to HIV

Holly HILL, S.C. (WOLO) – A Holly Hill man is behind bars after officials with the Holly Hill Police Department say he exposed a 5-year-old girl to HIV after sexually assaulting her.

The Times and Democrat reports that Oscar James Small Jr., 56, is charged with criminal sexual conduct with a minor first degree and exposing another to HIV.

According to an incident report, the sexual assault took place sometime in August while Small’s family was at church.

Small is being held at the Orangeburg Detention Center.
