Windy Friday, Cooler Weekend

As a cold front with a low pressure system departs from the area, we are going to see a breezy Friday. The showers have exited from the Carolina coast. The clouds will give way to some sunshine as we progress through the day. Highs should be in the low to mid-60s.

As we head into the weekend, colder air from the north will filter in, forcing highs down into the low-50s for Saturday and Sunday. We should see plenty of sunshine, but morning lows will fall into the 30s throughout the Midlands. Make sure to bundle up, especially during the morning hours.

Another system will cross the Southern Plains over the weekend, so expect to see some showers as we head into the middle of next week starting Tuesday.
