Richland County Sheriff's Department deputies are investigating a death in Hopkins
HOPKINS, S.C. (WOLO) — Richland County Sheriff’s Department deputies are investigating a death in Hopkins.
Richland County Sheriff’s Department spokesman Lt. Curtis Wilson says a 65-year-old woman was found in a home on Quail Hills Drive around 7 p.m. Friday.
The Richland County Coroner says she was shot in the upper body.
Investigators are working to learn if the shot was self-inflicted, or if there was foul-play involved.
