Scott to Wrap Up 2015 Tour of All SC Counties

FLORENCE, S.C. (AP) — U.S. Sen. Tim Scott will finish his goal of visiting all 46 counties in South Carolina in 2015 with several days to spare.

Scott plans a trip Tuesday to Dillon County to meet people and business leaders at Citizens Bank in Dillon at 10:15 a.m.

The Republican will then head down Interstate 95 and meet with workers and tour the Otis Elevator plant in Florence County at 11:30 a.m.

Scott set a goal when he was appointed to his U.S. Senate seat in late 2012 he would visit all 46 counties in South Carolina every year.

Scott is back on the campaign trail in 2016. All signs show he’ll run for a full six-year term.
