COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — A quadriplegic Columbia man needs your help finding his specially-outfitted van, stolen from in front of his house on Christmas Eve, sometime after 11 p.m.

Robert McCurdy is the Assistant Director for the S.C. Court Administration. His wife is a court reporter. The couple relies on the van to get McCurdy to work every day.

It’s a 2012 Honda Odyssey EX-L W/Nav Van. There are only the driver’s seat and rear seats; the others have been taken out. It has a lift that slides out of the passenger’s side middle door.  The color is Smoky Topaz, a grayish/taupe color.

The license plate, which is a handicap tag, is numbered W126.

The Columbia Police Department is handling the case.
