Cayce Police Need Help Locating Missing Teen

CAYCE, S.C. (WOLO) — Officers with the Cayce Department of Public Safety are asking the community for assistance in locating a missing teenager.

Authorities say 14-year-old Elka Makenna James was reported as a runaway by her parents.

She was last seen on Sunday January 3, around 8:30 p.m. at her home off of Sunnyside Dr. in Cayce.

Authorities describe James as being 4’10” tall and weighs 100 pounds.

James has shoulder length blonde hair but has dyed it black, blue, and purple in the past, officials say.

She attends George I Pair in West Columbia and may be staying in the Cayce / West Columbia area with friends.
