Chapin Police Chief Suspended

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — A spokesperson for the Town of Chapin confirms  to ABC Columbia that Police Chief Troy Crump has been suspended without pay.

Crump was suspended for three days following an unspecified “performance of duty issue”.

Crump’s suspension began Tuesday and is scheduled to end Friday, officials say.

ABC Columbia has reached out to Chief Crump and have not received a reply.
