SC Dept. of Consumer Affairs Warns Against Tax Scams

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — Scammers are out in full force this tax season.

The South Carolina Department of Consumer Affairs received 700 reports of IRS tax scams in 2015.  Nationally, the IRS says these scams have cost consumers $23 million in losses since 2013.
