Richland Co. Deputies Need Help Locating Robbery Suspect

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) — Richland County Sheriff’s deputies are requesting the community’s assistance in locating a suspect wanted for a burglary that occurred in December.

Sheriff Leon Lott said that an unknown suspect broke in to the AM/PM Food Mart located at 7230 Parklane Road between midnight and 1 a.m. on Monday, December 14.

The thief stole several bottles of liquor only to return a short time later and took an unknown amount of money from the cash register along with several packs of cigarettes and lottery tickets.

The stolen items were valued at approximately $7,000, Lott said.

The suspect is described as a white male in his early to mid-30’s, approximately 6 feet tall with a low haircut, wearing a black leather coat and blue jeans.
