Damage Caused by Wednesday’s Severe Weather was Microbust, Not Tornado
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — The National Weather Service in Columbia has confirmed that is was a microbust not a tornado that touched down in the Midlands Wednesday afternoon.
A microburst is described as a a small downdraft that moves in a way opposite of a tornado.
