Two Suspects Sought for Credit Card Fraud at Hardscrabble Grocery Store

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) — Deputies with the Richland County Sheriff’s Department need help locating two suspects wanted for credit card fraud.

Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott said the suspects used stolen credit card information to clone a card to make two purchases at the Food Lion on Hardscrabble Road on Saturday, January 23.

The purchases were each valued at $500.

The male suspect is described as a black male in his late teens to early 20s, wearing a black hoody and black pants

The female suspect is described as a black female in her late teens to early 20s, wearing a gray sweater with a lime green shirt underneath.

Sheriff Lott is urging citizens to be aware of your surroundings and who may be watching over your shoulder.

Lott also suggests that citizens continue to keep track of all your cards and receipts to compare your monthly statements.
