Watch: Franklin Graham Stops in Midlands on ‘Decision America Tour’

Franklin Graham made a stop at the South Carolina state house Tuesday to deliver a message of faith to South Carolinians.

Columbia, S.C. (WOLO) — Thousands of South Carolina residents rallied at the state house Tuesday afternoon as part of Franklin Graham’s ‘Decision America Tour.’ During the rally, the crowd joined in song and prayer together to hear Graham’s message.

“We’re here today because we see that our nation is in trouble, it’s in serious trouble,” said Graham.

Graham’s stop in the midlands is part of a nationwide tour to encourage Americans to vote by faith in the 2016 presidential election.
“I have no hope in the Democratic party, I have no hope in the Republican party, zero hope,” explained Graham. “The only hope is for God and for his people to take a stand in this election and get out and vote.”
The powerful message comes on the heels of the first in the south primary. While Graham said he will not endorse a candidate, he is hoping to inspire people to pray and vote for a biblical leader.
“We need today, men and women who will honor God in public office,” said Graham. “America is being stripped of biblical heritage and our God given biblically inspired foundations.”
A message many members of the crowd supported, to truly make America one nation under god.

“I wish whoever becomes our next president will take a moment and say to the American people ‘join me in praying for our country,’ said resident Henry Hixson. “If somebody could do that and speak from their heart , oh my goodness, what a wonderful feeling we would have.”

Officials for the Decision America Tour said at Tuesday’s rally more than 7,000 residents were in attendance. Franklin Graham will next head to Atlanta on his tour Wednesday.
