Boil Water Advisory

Columbia, S.C. (WOLO)–  City of Columbia water works has issued a boil water advisory for customers near Two Notch Rd.

Officials say customers on Ferrell Dr., Marietta Dr., Faye Ave., Baldwin Rd., Hutto Ct., Miot St., and Two Notch Rd. from Blume Ct. to Ferrell Dr. need to boil their water for one minute prior to drinking or cooking.

Authorities say the advisory was prompted by a 3 inch water main break that could possibly result in bacterial contamination.

The City of Columbia is working to correct the problem.
