Police Release Sketch in Attempted Kidnapping, Assault of Woman

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — Authorities need the community’s assistance in identifying a man wanted for attempting to kidnap and assault a woman at a Marstellar Street home in February.
The victim reported that a man approached her shortly before 9 a.m. on February 23, and allegedly grabbed her arm and verbally threatened her.
The suspect left the home after the victim threatened to shoot him, officials say.
The suspect is described as a black male, with shoulder-length black and gray dreadlocks, and brown eyes, last seen wearing a black bomber jacket with jeans.
