MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (AP) — Four people have been arrested after Horry County police said they learned of extensive sexual assaults being committed on two 4-year-old children.

Media outlets report that Tuesday, Horry County detectives arrested four people and charged them with multiple child sex crimes.

Lt. Mark Bonner says that on Jan. 25, police were told of a sexual assault to children that occurred in the county but was reported elsewhere. An unnamed witness told police she had been providing counseling to the victims since May 1 after a Department of Social Services investigation found the children were being forced to have sex with their siblings and their parents.

The victims told police there were multiple locations of the sexual assaults, including Chez Joey, a Myrtle Beach strip club.
