Two Arrested for Cooking Methamphetamine in Elgin

Deputies arrested two people in Elgin early Saturday morning, after they say they caught them cooking methamphetamine

meth-bust22.jpgELGIN, S.C. (WOLO) – Richland County Sheriff’s deputies arrested two people in Elgin early Saturday morning, after they say they caught them cooking methamphetamine.

This happened in a house on Pine Knoll Court around 4:30 a.m., when authorities attempted to serve a search warrant. The residence was evacuated and Columbia Fire Department responded.

37-year-old Kenneth Linville Jr. and 32-year-old Courtney Thompkins were arrested and charged with conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine.

The investigation is ongoing.
