Court Hearing to be Held Monday to Determine if Smoaks Toddlers Can Return Home
SMOAKS, S.C. (AP) _ The family of three children who went missing Wednesday from their home near Smoaks say a court hearing is set for Monday morning to determine if the toddlers can return home.
The children spent the weekend in protective custody while authorities continue to investigation their disappearance.
After going missing for more than 18 hours, the children were found in an abandoned house, about one hundred yards from where they were last seen playing.
Colleton County Sheriff’s Lt. Shane Roberts tells local media outlets investigators believe someone put the toddlers in the abandoned mobile home where they were found.
