Police: Pedestrian Taken to Hospital After Being Hit
Columbia Police are investigating after a pedestrian was hit around 9 p.m. Sunday at Elmwood Avenue and Marion Street
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – Columbia Police are investigating, after a pedestrian was hit by a car around 9 p.m. Sunday at Elmwood Avenue and Marion Street.
CPD said the pedestrian was taken to the hospital for treatment.
The pedestrian was traveling southbound across Elmwood near Marion Street and was unlawfully in the roadway when he made contact with the front end of a car, CPD officials said Monday.
The pedestrian continues to receive medical treatment for broken bones and bruising as a result.
