“Casino for a Cure” Event

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– Join Colleges Against Cancer at the Courtyard Columbia Downtown Hotel (630 Assembly Street) for a Texas Hold ‘Em Tournament. Beginner and Advanced tables will both be in play. Prize baskets will be awarded to the first, second, and third place winners. Music will be provided by KBC Jazz Trio and Hors d’Oeuvres from Millwood Smokehouse. All proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life. 

“Casino for a Cure is a way to raise awareness for about Relay for Life, but in a different way than we normally do. Through this event we can interest more people in the community to come out and learn how great the Relay for Life event actually is” –Taylor Boucher, Colleges Against Cancer President.

The event begins at 8PM and continues to 11PM. Cocktail Attire is suggested.

A suggested donation of $10 will be accepted at the door or online at under the Casino for a Cure Team.
