Argument off Bluff Road Ends in Stabbing

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – Richland County Sheriff’s deputies said what started as an argument, ended with one person being stabbed in a neighborhood off Bluff Road Sunday afternoon.

Deputies said that 55-year-old Andre Washington was charged with Assault and Battery 2nd Degree and booked into Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.

We’re told that Washington stabbed the victim, who is expected to be okay, after a verbal altracation escalated to a physical one.

This happened in the 500 block of Sugar Hill Lane around 1:30 p.m. Sunday.
