All Eyes on the Empire State for New York Primary Day
NEW YORK (AP) _ Tuesday is Primary Day in New York.
Democrat Hillary Clinton’s campaign manager is predicting that New York will result in Clinton taking “an important step to the nomination.” Her rival Bernie Sanders needs to win 68 percent of the remaining delegates if he hopes to clinch the Democratic nomination.
For Republican Donald Trump, capturing more than 50 percent of the vote statewide would put him in strong position to win all of the state’s 95 GOP delegates.
