Deputies Searching for Credit Card Cloning Suspect

RICHLAND COUNTY, SC (WOLO) — Police say it’s becoming increasingly popular for thieves to clone your credit card and they say it happened to another unsuspecting victim.

Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott said on Wednesday, February 24, a woman purchased three purses and four gift cards totaling $2, 700 from the Belk located at 670 Promenade Place.

Authorities say the suspect is her early 20’s and was wearing a black jacket and black pants.
