USC “Lead the Way Initiative” to Hold Voter Registration Events

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — The University of South Carolina’s Lead the Way initiative is looking to make sure your vote counts this November.

They plan to help more than 5,000 students register to vote before the 2016 election.

Registration events will be held on the following dates:

-August 19

-September 16

-October 6

To become a registered voter, students need to bring a form of ID.   Lead the Way will provide all the paperwork necessary to register students, whether they are South Carolina residents or from out of state. The registration process takes about two minutes to complete.
