No Charges in Sumter Stabbing at Chicken Plant
COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO) – No Charges will be filled after a stabbing last week at a Sumter chicken processing plant.
Deputies with the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office say the woman who was wounded in the incident was one of the assailants.
The woman who was stabbed her was acting in self-defense, officials say.
The incident began after two employees were fired for smelling like alcohol.
