Temporary Closure of Lincoln Street

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– Make arrangements to detour if your travels take you down parts of Lincoln Street in Downtown Columbia.

According to Richland County officials, Lincoln Street, from College Street to Devine Street, will be temporarily closed.
Officials say, the two-block closure is due to contractors performing work in the middle of Lincoln Street as part of the ongoing Innovista (Greene Street) Phase I project.

Visitors to Colonial Life Arena will have limited access if they’re trying to purchase tickets at the box office at the Arena.
Official say if you need to visit the ticket office, make a U-turn between College Street and Greene Street.

The closure is expected to last though May 2, 2016.
