City of Columbia Kicks-Off National Small Business Week
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — The capital city is looking to give small businesses a boost.
The City of Columbia’s Office of Business Opportunities, in conjunction with Columbia Chamber of Commerce and Richland County, will kickoff National Small Business Week with a press conference Monday.
National Small Business Week is a campaign organized by the United States Small Business Administration to support and acknowledge the importance of small businesses to the country’s economy. Columbia has participated in the event since 2012.
There will be a number of events throughout the week in order to develop and enhance the presence of small business in the community.
