RCSD investigating Sunday morning shooting

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) – The Richland County Sheriff’s Department is investigating an early morning shooting, that sent two people to the hospital.

Deputies responded to a shots fired call around 2 a.m. Sunday, in the 700 block of Zimalcrest Drive. On scene, they found signs of a shooting, but no victims in sight. They just happened to spot two cars driving quickly down nearby Broad River Road. They followed the cars to the hospital, where they discovered two victims, shot in the upper and lower body. We do not have information on their conditions at this time.
