Moped Driver Killed in Crash ID’d
RICHLAND COUNTY, SC (WOLO) – The Richland County Coroner released the name of the individual who was killed after being involved in a moped vs. motor vehicle collision.
The incident happened on Two Notch Road around 9 p.m. on May 11.
Gary Watts said the victim is 27-year-old Robert Paul Lancour, III, of Elgin.
He died at 9:44 p.m. at Palmetto Health Richland Hospital ER.
Lancour died as a result of blunt force injuries to his head.
The accident remains under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
