Lottery Winner Thinking Retirement and Second Career at Walmart

lottery-421.JPGCOLUMBIA, SC (PRESS RELEASE) – Thanks to a quarter-of-a-million dollar lottery win, a Piedmont woman says she can retire within a year and do what she’s always wanted—be a greeter at Walmart.

“I don’t know why, but all my life I’ve wanted to work at Walmart,” she said. “I think it would be fun to try.”

She’ll get that opportunity off a Money Money Money scratch-off she purchased from the Stop-A-Minit #16 in Simpsonville while she was out running errands. She waited until she got home and turned on her favorite show, “The Doctors,” before she scratched off the $250,000 win.

“I sat back and closed my eyes,” she said, hoping the win wasn’t a dream.

As of this release, one top prize of $250,000 remains in the $10 Money Money Money game. The odds of winning $250,000 are 1 in 696,000.

For selling the claimed ticket, Stop-A-Minit #16 in Simpsonville received a commission of $2,500.
