Suspects sought in afternoon shooting on North Main
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – Columbia Police Department needs the public’s help finding the suspects in an afternoon shooting in North Columbia.
The incident occurred around noon at the intersection of North Main Street and Lorick Avenue. According to witnesses, a light purple/blue colored Dodge Charger with at least three suspects inside shot at the victim’s vehicle. The motive for the shooting is not known at this time.
These are surveillance video stills of the three suspects.
Four people were inside the victim’s vehicle, including two teenagers. One passenger was grazed in the back by a bullet. The male victim was taken to a local hospital for his non-life threatening injury. No one else was injured.
Aside from the unique color of the suspect’s vehicle, it also has chrome rims and damage to the back driver’s side.
