Two Stabbed Following Text Message Exchange, Police Say

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) – A heated text message exchange lead to two people being stabbed on Sunday, police say.

According to officials with the Richland County Sheriff’s Department the victim and the suspect met in the 2100 block on Wilkinson Road around 7 p.m.

During the altercation, police say when the victim turned to run, the victim was stabbed in the upper body.

Another individual on the scene then stabbed the suspect in the upper body, police say.

Both suffered non-life threatening injuries.
