Watch: Richland Penny Tax Discussed

Columbia,S.C. (WOLO)– Richland County Council is set to meet today. According to their agenda the Council is expected to discuss and craft a document for public review showing the affects the hold on Penny Tax funds will have on the county. You may remember last week the South Carolina Department of Revenue put a freeze on money associated with that program until it has a chance to investigate allegations of fraud, abuse and waste of funds intended for the program.

Officials with the program have denied any wrongdoing.
