Columbia, S.C. (WOLO)– Some parents in one Midlands school district are calling for a change.
Wednesday evening members of the Richland District Two Black Parents Association issued a vote of no confidence in school board chairman James Manning.
In the statement the association says in a time of “remarkable racial overtones… it is time for new leadership at the board level.”
Manning’s current term is scheduled to run through November of 2018.
