WATCH: Authorities seek two men seen Friday with man found dead Saturday
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – Investigators with the Richland County Sheriff’s Office are looking for two men, seen at the bus station on Sumter Street Friday with a man, found shot to death the next day.
Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott said they need to talk to the men, seen here in surveillance video; the first, wearing a yellow shirt and a hat, and the second, smoking a cigarette. Authorities believe the two men have information that could help them figure out what happened to the victim.
Richland County Coroner Gary Watts has identified the victim as Marcus Posey, 34, of Columbia. Deputies said his body was found shortly after 3:30 a.m. Saturday in the 1100 block of Blue Ridge Terrace, near Haskell Heights First Baptist Church. The coroner ruled that Posey died from a gunshot wound to the upper body.
