CPD: Attempted Murder Suspect, Person of Interest Sought
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – Two men are wanted by the Columbia Police Department in connection with a shooting at a motel on Sunset Drive last week.
34-year-old Victor Anthony Robinson is wanted for attempted murder, possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime and possession of a firearm by a person convicted of a violent crime.
Robinson is accused of shooting a male victim with a high-powered weapon multiple times while at the Budget Inn Motel located at 1601 Sunset Drive Wednesday, May 18, officials say.
The victim remains in the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Authorities say the exact motive is still being determined, but investigators believe the isolated incident stemmed from a previous argument.
Investigators still want to locate and a person of interest in the cast.
CPD officials say Terrance Robert Boyd, 24, has important information about the crime.
