ABOUT LAST GAME: Columbia dropped the series finale to the West Virginia Power, 3-0, on Sunday at Appalachian Power Park. P.J. Conlon’s Minor League-best seven-start win streak came to end as well.
ON THE ROAD AGAIN: The Fireflies seven-game road trip continues on Memorial Day in Rome, Georgia. Columbia traveled 474 miles from Appalachian Power Park in Charleston, West Virginia, to State Mutual Stadium.
DO IT AGAIN: The last time Columbia visited Rome, the Fireflies swept the Braves. The three wins were decided by four total runs. Starters Tyler Badamo, Joe Shaw and Chase Ingram all pitched wonderfully and picked ups wins. Badamo is scheduled to throw on Wednesday.
