Police: Victim in ‘Serious’ Condition Following Shooting at Pool Party
RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) – Deputies with the Richland County Sheriff’s Department are looking for a suspect who they say shot a juvenile during a pool party early Friday morning.
According to officials deputies responded to a shots fired call on St. Andrews Road around 1:30 a.m. at an neighboring apartment complex.
The wanted suspect fired multiple shots in the direction of the front of the complex, and one of the bullets hit the victim in the upper body.
Officials say a friend took the victim to the hospital for treatment.
The victim’s injuries are said to be serious.
“It’s unclear if the victim was the intended target, since there were so many people in the area,”
