Deputies: Suspect kicked ex-girlfriend’s door down, assaulted her

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) – Richland County Sheriff’s Department deputies have charged Shadon Beane with criminal domestic violence, after they said he broke into his ex-girlfriend’s house and assaulted her.

Authorities said Beane first arrived at the house on Sloane Road just after midnight Saturday, demanding that the victim’s male friend leave. He obliged, and Beane left.

Deputies said Beane returned a short time later, kicking down the door and pointing a gun at the victim. When she fought back in self-defense, officials said Beane assaulted her.

Beane was booked into Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.
