Assistant Principal Charged, Accused of Groping Teacher

GREENVILLE, S.C. (WLOS) — An assistant principal at an Upstate high school faces charges after he was accused of sexually harassing a teacher.

According to a statement from Greenville County Schools, Tyrone Talbert, 46, is accused of groping and fondling a teacher without her consent in his office.

Talbert is an Assistant Principal at Blue Ridge High School.

He’s charged with second-degree assault and battery. He was arrested on June 3. He was released on $5,000 bond the following day.

Talbert has been employed by Greenville County Schools since 2005. He’s been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation.
